My Card Book

Draft of July 2026

Terms of use

Draft — under review. This is plain-language placeholder wording for a small hobby app, not final legal terms.

My Card Book is a small hobby app for keeping track of your trading card collection. By using it, you agree to these plain-language terms.

Your account

You need an account (an email and password) to use the app. Keep your password to yourself — you’re responsible for what happens under your account. One account is one card book.

Your content stays yours

The cards, photos, stories, and notes you add belong to you. We store them so we can show them back to you; we don’t claim ownership of them and we don’t share them.

Card values are a guide, not advice

Any card values shown come from a free public price feed or from figures you enter yourself. They’re a best-effort guide for your own interest — they are not financial, investment, or appraisal advice, and can be out of date or wrong. Don’t rely on them for real-money decisions.

Fair use

Please use the app for its intended purpose — cataloguing your own collection. Don’t try to break, overload, or abuse it, and don’t use it for anything unlawful.

Provided as-is

This is a hobby project offered as-is, without warranties. We do our best to keep it running and to keep your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, the app’s owner isn’t liable for any loss arising from using it. Keep your own backups of anything important.

Card data credit

Card details and images are provided by the free pokemontcg.io API. My Card Book isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by pokemontcg.io, Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or any card publisher. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Changes

These terms are a draft and may change as the app grows. Significant changes will be noted here.
